This week has been really good.
We got these records called Household records which tell us about all the important ordinances that have been done for any give person in the ward. They are extremely helpful, and we can work with families to get ordinances done. It also helps us to find those people who seem active, but are "flying under the radar," so to speak. Like RM's that are 30, are endowed but not sealed. Possible partner and children there, since RM's are in hot demand. ;-) Stuff like that. Helps us know who needs to be ordained to a higher priesthood. It's really helpful for missionary work. We found a Less-Active Lady that wants her kids to be baptised, and wants to start coming back to church. It has been good.
Patrick, our Nigerian investigator is being baptised this weekend. He is really keen. His family will be back in 2 months, and then they will be baptised as well. It's really good.
We have some exciting-ish news! We have just found out that the Zone Leaders ward is going to become the Assistant's ward, and as a result, the Zone Leaders are coming into our ward. We are being double covered starting Wednesday. They are still working on how the split of the ward is going to take place logistically. The way they currently have it split give the Zone Leaders 6 of our 8 progressing investigators, so we are not altogether for that plan. Lol... I suppose that we will find out!
It will be good though. This ward has a lot of work that needs to be done. We were told that out of the 33 baptisms for the Stake to date, 27 have come from Lake Ward (the ZL's former area) and Ham East. So, this will be good. :-)
Been a really good week so far. Every week has the ups and downs, but that's part of missionary work, working through those problems.
Love you all, and hope all is well!
