Miracles!

Hello all!

I decided it would just be easy to send emails to all the people that I have email addresses for! But, if these emails will clutter your inbox, feel free to tell me! Lol...

On Sunday, we had an awesome miracle. We went to church really hoping for some investigators at church. But none of the people we are teaching came. So, we taught the gospel principles class today, and during it, this lady walked in, escorted by some members, showing her the way to class. Judging by the earrings she had, we suspected that she was a nonmember. We didn't get the chance to introduce ourselves, because she left class pretty quick. Well, after priesthood, somebody said, Elders, come! So we went, and there was that lady. She had introduced herself, and she said she was investigating the church, she was interested, and she's almost finished reading the Book of Mormon. Two best friends, not from our ward, thought, perfect missionary opportunity! So, they found us and introduced her to us. One of her opening comments was that she really felt like she should come to church. She said she wanted to be baptised, and she wanted to know how she could do that. Lol... We saw her that night, figured out her understanding of the gospel, and set her for baptism on the 17th of August. Just think, what if those sisters had not introduced her to us? What would have happened. nothing. So, just think, these people are making a huge step in coming to church, and they need some positive reinforcement! Just think. You could be the help in someone getting baptised. That's my challenge to you. Introduce yourself to the person that you sit next to in church. Introduce yourself to that person you haven't seen before. Who knows! you might have a miracle, just like those two sisters did. :-) Amanda is the lady's name, and she is keen as. She accepted to live all the commandments to be baptised, even though she doesn't fully understand them. She is one of the most prepared people I have ever come across on my entire mission, if not the most prepared. Wonderful miracles like this are great.

My companion is great. I'm really learning how to love my companions more. I am learning how to serve them more. It's a good lesson for me. I've made a lot of changes this past week, and I believe that the Lord is blessing us for that.

The gospel is true, and you are all awesome.

Arohanui,

E. Staheli
